 Message from Mr Gladys...

TAS @ BCS

The core interest of courses offered by the BCS TAS faculty is to encourage the development of skills and knowledge in a relaxed practical atmosphere that promotes learning through practical problem solving.

We are a dynamic and innovative faculty catering for the abilities and interests of all students, who are encouraged to achieve excellent results from participating in many diversified and creative courses.

Students who have chosen to study in this area have attained outstanding HSC results. Our students are offered the opportunity to participate in state and regional competitions such as The Manning Valley Technology Awards, Minister’s Young Design Awards (MYDA), providing HSC major work for display at Design Tech (National display of outstanding HSC Major Design Projects) and VET World Skills.

  • Yvonne Mason - Food + Textiles Technology/Hospitality
  • Cathryn Guthrie – Design and Technology/Food Technology/Hospitality
