BCS is thrilled to announce that Deb Gilbert, Head Teacher Welfare was successfully nominated for an Australian Government 2008 National Award for Quality Schooling.
Deb was one of only 5 teachers Australia-wide who received a Highly Commended Award for Excellence in Teacher Leadership. Deb was presented her award by Deputy Prime Minister, The Hon Julia Gillard MP, Minister for Education at a gala presentation at Parliamnet House in Canberra on Tuesday, 3rd June.
Deb was rewarded for her significant role in developing quality learning, particularly in the Middle Years of schooling with emphasis on effective integration if ICT.
